What Is A Negative Calorie?

Today I have included a list of what is often referred to as negative calorie foods.  I’ve had a look at this, and here’s what I’ve found out.  There is no such thing as a negative calorie.  A calorie is a unit of heat and cannot be negative. What this really means is foods that are low enough, that it takes more energy to eat and digest it than the food contains.

This is the list of foods that fall into this category.  Remember no one food should be consumed in excess, as this can be damaging to our bodies.  A good example would be Grapefruit and Pineapple which can damage your stomach lining.  Other foods can increase the burden on our liver or can cause diarrhoea.  You should eat different foods in small quantities.
