You Can Get Your Fitness Back

If you want your fitness back, you have probably heard the phrase, (and I know I’ve said it before) “it’s never too late” and it’s true.  Maybe you don‘t believe me?

Well if you’re over 50 and not feeling very fit, may be you’re overweight, you’re thinking you’re over the hill, and should have done something about it before now. You’re too tired to play with the Grandchildren, you can’t be bothered to go out much, not very happy, each week feels harder.

Yeah, you say well that’s the way it is when you’re getting older!  You slow down, put on weight, can’t do this, can’t do that.  You remember when you were young and all the energy you had.  Whoa! Stop! Stop! Stop!

You’re thinking yourself unfit and believe me it will happen, you get what you think and that’s a fact!  You’ve told yourself you can’t do anything about it.   If you do that you’re about to go down the plug hole, with your own bath water.  Oh yeah it’s hard to get out of the bath as well I suppose!  Do you see what I mean?

Well I’m here to tell you and show you it’s time to change that thinking.  Because that’s the first thing you need to do.  It’s going to destroy you.  If that’s you, I can’t believe you want to feel like that.

At 50 you can have nearly as much life to live again and you want to enjoy all you have worked so hard for.  See all your Grandchildren and watch them grow up. So you’re in a hole at the moment, that’s ok.  There’s a big ladder here that’s going to get you out of that hole and back on track before it’s too late.

I’ve talked to a lot of guys about Health and Fitness some keep fit, some don’t, but there are a lot who are trying, and it’s making a difference.  Changing their thinking about health and fitness is making it happen for them.

The Human Body is very forgiving of our old ways, if we take the hint and listen, and heed the warning signs it is resilient and will bounce back no matter what age you are, as long as you don’t let yourself become ill first.  And that’s what it’s all about.

If you push and use your body, you can easily and enjoyably gain and maintain your fitness over 50.  And remember you should make it enjoyable and that’s the way you’ve got to start to think about it, and take action now!

When you make health and fitness a priority in your day, you have a lot to look forward to.  In your fifties you have so much going for you; I believe your age is just a number.

You have life experience and maturity in abundance.  And the feeling of being fit is one of the best feelings you can have.  Total wellbeing and having the energy for all you want to do, so your day is full and you are content.  You sleep well and wake refreshed.  You feel alert and yet can relax easily.  You’re aware of your weight and it’s completely under your control.  So you can enjoy your food without feeling miserable or guilty. You take pride in your appearance because you feel good and are happy with the way you look.

So don’t think about the past and how it was, don’t despair in the present. But think about the future, and visualise how you want to be, just make a start today and you can get your fitness back.  And everything that goes with it.
