Exercise Sucks

Happy New Year, and oh by the way Exercise Sucks. Well One person told me that over the Holiday period. Anyway I’m sure it’s going to be a great year. It’s all back to normal this week if there is any such thing! The World and the people in it are so different, and we all live very diverse lives. I have always been an optimist. I really don’t see the point in being anything else in life, even when it’s not going so well I always believe the Sun is shining over the next hill. So people like me […] Read more »

Drinking Water

Drinking water?  I have just read that there’s a new Café just opened in New York selling filtered tap water. Yeah, that’s the only thing it sells, a real watering hole.  It’s called “Molecules”.  You can also add vitamins and supplements to the water they sell, to create a water cocktail – way to go I say. We could do with a chain of them. For our fitness over fifty we should be drinking water.  Guys in our fifties I think still find it a bit strange, the concept of buying water from a shop.  I know I did, even […] Read more »

Scare-mongering?  Well I don’t think so!  I see it all the time and I’m sure you have too.  The sad fact is we all have so much choice in this if we are in control. I hear guys saying, “I could do with losing weight”, and “I […] Read more »

What Does Fitness Mean To You?

Man running along coast

Now that you’re in your 50’s, you might be wondering what fitness means to you and you’re to be congratulated, and you should be celebrating this milestone. Whatever Fitness has meant to you in the past, and no matter where you are now, every one looks at it differently.  To some it brings on the cringe of pain, of doing something they simply hate, and even something they will avoid at all cost, but that’s not necessary.  Fitness and exercise should be fun, doing something that is enjoyable.  Maybe you just want to maintain the level of fitness you have, […] Read more »
